Permanent vacancy - Product Manager
Location - Hillington Glasgow
Working days/Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm
Salary: £40,000 - £55,000

The Product Manager role is a new position for our client's business. We are looking for someone who can help shape this role's scope and responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have passion and experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of the role's expectations. Key responsibilities include developing and managing the product line from conception to launch, collaborating with cross-functional teams such as engineering, design, sales, and marketing to define and execute the product strategy, and focusing on delivering scalable solutions that meet customer needs, optimize workflows, and support data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Product Positioning, Value Proposition, Pricing Strategy in coordination with sales and marketing teams
* Develop and execute product strategy and roadmap aligned with company goals and market trends.
* Gather and analyze customer feedback, pain points, and industry needs to inform product improvements and new features.
* Coordinate with engineering, UX/UI design, marketing, and sales teams to ensure product features align with business goals and are delivered on time.
* Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay informed of industry trends and ensure product competitiveness.
* Manage all aspects of the product lifecycle, from ideation to launch, including requirements definition, feature prioritization, goal setting, and success metrics tracking.
* Plan and execute product launches, working with marketing and sales to develop positioning and messaging to increase adoption and market penetration.
* Use data analytics to monitor product performance, identify areas for improvement, and guide future iterations.
Additional Responsibilities
* Define HVAC&R application strategy for regions and sales channels in collaboration with sales teams.
* Customize value propositions based on regional pain points.
* Gather and structure feedback for relevant divisions.
* Develop application and solution-driven value propositions, incorporating regional VOC and market interactions.
* Work with production and development teams to align application specifications with the global strategy.
* Translate VOC into marketing tools and develop an application roadmap with the global marketing team.
* Support sales in defining key priorities for pipeline development.
Qualifications and Skills
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA is a plus.
* 5+ years of product management experience, especially with SaaS, resource management, or data platforms.
* Strong understanding of workflows and data management practices.
* Proven success in bringing products from concept to market.
* Experience working with cross-functional teams in agile environments.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to balance technical, customer, and business requirements.
* Experience with data analytics tools is a plus.
Location and Working Hours
This role is based at our Glasgow head office. The candidate will initially work on-site during a 6-month probation, with potential for hybrid work (minimum 3 days in the office). Standard hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30-17:30, including a one-hour lunch. Occasional travel within the UK and to offices in Taiwan, Malaysia, and the USA may be required.
