We are currently recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistants to work in a local school within the BD15 and BD22 postcodes for immediate starts.
The role will be working 1:1 with a child with challenging behaviour and therefore previous experience of working with SEND is essential.
For the role you will require the following:
• Level 2 or 3 qualified with a minimum of 6 months’ experience in an SEN educational establishment
• The ability to remain calm and have a passion for meeting the needs of the students
• Good communication skills
• Knowledge and understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines
• Experience of supporting students on a 1:1 and a small group basis
Successful applicants require an enhanced DBS, preferably on the up date service and provide a minimum of 2 references.
