About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to take our Procurement team to the next level. Working under the Senior Procurement Manager who reports to the Director of Procurement and Property, you will help shape the function as it expands. Current supported areas are IT/digital, Properties & Facilities Management, Travel, Recruitment, Events and Marketing, with scope to support all spend as the team develops.
In this role you will be the procurement lead on a variety of indirect spend projects across the business, influencing key stakeholders to define new and effective procurement strategies that deliver best value and risk mitigation.
You will drive continuous development of procurement policies and processes, including third‑party due diligence and risk management, ensuring we partner with quality organisations that support our ESG values.
You will increase the visibility of procurement within the firm and identify opportunities to drive business performance, adapting traditional processes to an agile, entrepreneurial environment.
Responsible for supporting ESG strategy, supplier diversity programmes and meeting stakeholder and finance team business objectives within budget.
Accuracy of procurement data (contracts database, spend data, activity tracker) will be your responsibility.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
* Extensive experience in indirect procurement with a proven ability to translate best practice into policies and processes.
* Strong communicator and relationship builder.
* Commercially astute, proactive and experienced in negotiation.
* Experience in professional services, partnerships or financial services is desirable.
* Supplier management, third‑party assurance and risk management experience.
* Experience in ESG & I&D within the supply chain.
* Experience in Digital & IT procurement, ideally software and hardware.
