Draft Job Description – Operations Manager
Overview
SenseAI is a fast-growing technology company making advanced software to enhance analytical equipment such as electron microscopes. It is on a high trajectory and requires structure, processes and operational support to thrive. It is looking for an Operations Manager to look after operational aspects of the business complementing the Finance Operations Manager who will primarily cover Finance (payroll, expenses, R&D tax credits and other Xero related tasks) and HR (recruitment, contracts, holidays, appraisals).
Sales and Marketing Support
* Marketing support around trade shows / events
* Newsletters and marketing actions complementing marketing consultant
* Customer basic support, stakeholder engagement
* Lead management (supporting sales, CRM interaction)
* Conference registration and logistics including shipping of exhibition stands, posters, etc.
* Website/comms. support
Policy Support
* Update and circulation of documentation and policies, ie. Handbook, Health & Safety, etc.
Logistics
* Filing and organisation to ensure smooth operations by implementing effective administrative and project management systems
* Travel and hotel bookings in line with expenses policy
Processes
* Filing and organisation
* Policies – data security, privacy, environmental, business continuity
* ISO Operating Standards – knowledge of or willingness to learn
Executive Support
* Assist with administration in support of grants
* Diary management / organise meetings and visits
* Any prep for board meetings
* Sensitive admin tasks – share options, EMI, EIS share certificates
* Procurement, insurance
* Track actions, minutes and commitments
Skills, general and specialist knowledge
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent planning, organisational prioritising and project management skills
demonstrated by proven ability to prioritise work, resolve conflicting priorities and
progress work thoroughly, reliably and to a consistently high standard.
Excellent IT skills including use of Microsoft suite ± time management tools.

Working Arrangements
Flexible working from home is OK, expected to join most office F2F meetings which are monthly in Liverpool.
May be suited to someone looking for a 4-day working week. Full-time suited too.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £35,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
Expected hours: No less than 32 per week
