Role Description
As HR Advisor at Anglia Research (incorporating Wolsey Probate (our in-house estate administration company) reporting directly to Company directors and managers, you will work closely to ensure the company maintains a positive workplace culture, complies with UK employment legislation, and implements effective HR policies and processes.
This is a standalone role where you will provide proactive, approachable, and trusted advice to both management and staff alike, across the full employee lifecycle. The day to day will span employee relations, compensation and benefits, learning and development, health and safety, recruitment, induction, and onboarding. Also, efficient offboarding, HR administration, HR finance, and some payroll tasks.
You will deal with and oversee all queries and aspects of human resources within this family run business.
This is a standalone, office-based role, at our Head Office in Ipswich. This is a part time role, and we are happy to discuss flexibility in terms of days and hours worked with candidates.
Qualifications
* Previous generalist experience in a similar HR role, with proficiency in HR Operations and HR Management practices
* Strong knowledge of HR Policies and up to date with the latest employment law
* Experience in Employee Relations and providing advice and guidance across the full employee lifecycle
* Outstanding communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
* CIPD qualification is highly desirable
* Some payroll experience desirable
* Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
