Overview

Band 3 role within James Paget University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (NHS). The Trust serves a population of around 250,000 in Great Yarmouth, Lowestoft and Waveney and provides an integrated hospital and community children’s service. Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen within AMU/SDEC (Acute Medical Unit and Same Day Emergency Care). The units are both for acute medical patients with a fast turnover, for direct admissions from ED and GPs.

Main duties of the job

To be actively able to care for patients within both AMU and SDEC areas with their personal care needs, including taking bloods and cannulation. There will be opportunities for training in these enhanced skills.
