Phlebotomists Required For Four Days Per Week.
Are you an experienced Phlebotomist (or a Healthcare Assistant or Nurse with phlebotomy skills) with 1+ years of experience in collecting and processing venous blood samples? We have a position for four days per week for two months in Carlisle.
Whether you wish to work on a flexible / part time or full-time basis, days, evenings, or weekends, joining our team will enable you to work around your current schedule and commitments, supplement your income and provide the opportunity to be involved with clinical trials and research within pharmaceutical, biotech and medtech industries.
We are looking for highly skilled, flexible, adaptable individuals to carry out scheduled visits and successfully collect, transport, and prepare samples for testing (providing a remote/mobile service as needed using a POCT device), reporting and providing event notes, referring pertinent information to your supervisor.
As you will be the face of IQVIA (and our client), professional conduct – including but not limited to dress, conversation, privacy, and safety – is always expected. Working outside of hospital settings and visiting multiple sites per session, you should have your own reliable transport and mobile phone.
Candidates should meet the following requirements:
* Phlebotomist, Health Care Assistant or Nurse with up-to-date phlebotomy skills
* Intermediate computer skills (comfortable with basic software)
* Own reliable transport and a full UK driving license
* Own mobile phone and internet access
* Based within reasonable travel distance to the specified location
You will receive a generous hourly rate + mileage reimbursement at the HMRC rate. Parking costs are also covered where necessary.
