Veritas Education is working with a vibrant and diverse secondary academy (Ofsted rated, Good) to recruit a part-time Teaching Assistant for a long-term temporary position, with potential to become permanent for the right candidate. The academy serves around 1,200 students aged 11-16 and maintains an inclusive ethos with strong pastoral care and focus on academic achievement.
Responsibilities
* Support students across a range of subjects and abilities, helping to remove barriers to learning and promote engagement.
* Work closely with teaching staff to deliver high-quality support tailored to individual needs.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Has high aspirations for all students.
* Passionate about education and committed to student success.
* Ability to build strong, positive relationships with young people.
* Proactive, flexible, and able to contribute to a team.
* Experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential.
* DBS on the update service is preferred.
