Behaviour Mentor – Secondary School – Bromley Position: Behaviour Mentor Location: Bromley Start Date: September 2025 Contract: Long-term, full academic year Pay Rate: £105 - £135 per day (depending on experience) Are you passionate about supporting young people to reach their full potential? A secondary school in Bromley is looking for a confident and compassionate Behaviour Mentor to start in September 2025. You’ll work closely with students who require additional support to manage their behaviour and fully engage with learning. This long-term opportunity is ideal for someone with a background in education, youth work, mentoring, or counselling who is eager to make a genuine difference. Key Responsibilities: Provide one-to-one and small group mentoring for students with behavioural challenges Work collaboratively with teachers and the pastoral team to implement behaviour support strategies Help students develop emotional awareness and positive behaviour patterns Monitor student progress and share updates with staff, parents/carers, and leadership Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment Support improvements in attendance, engagement, and overall wellbeingWhat We’re Looking For: Experience working with young people in a school or mentoring environment Strong communication and relationship-building skills A calm, patient, and encouraging approach to behaviour support Commitment to helping young people grow and succeed Familiarity with behaviour management approaches (desirable) A strong understanding of safeguarding practicesWhat We Offer: Daily rate of £105 - £135, dependent on experience A long-term role starting in September 2025 for the full academic year A supportive and inclusive school community Regular CPD and development opportunitiesHow to Apply: Ready to help young people thrive?
