MYDoc Trust Registrar – Cardiology Imaging Fellow
Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust is pleased to announce the continuation of this post. The post is suitable for a cardiology trainee with an interest in imaging to acquire skills for scanning, supervising and reporting cardiac CT and MR independently. There are also additional clinical service commitments.
Main duties of the job
The main duties of the post will include:
* Supervision and first-reporting of cardiac MRI and CT (with appropriate consultant supervision)
* Out-patient activities/clinics
* Involvement in specialty and cross-specialty multi-disciplinary teams and meetings
* Involvement in relevant administration duties
* Teaching and supervision of resident medical staff and other clinicians as appropriate
* Active involvement in audit and clinical governance including service improvement activities

Qualifications
* Full GMC Registration with licence to practise
* Medical Degree from recognised medical school
* Higher qualification e.g. MFARM, FRCS, MRCP, MRCPG, MRCS, FRCA or equivalent
* ATLS, ALS, APLS or PALS certification
* Eligibility to work in the UK
* Pre-registration / foundation training and at least one year in a relevant specialty in an NHS Trust or with equivalent experience from overseas
* Demonstrates intelligent and analytical approach to problem solving
