The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to join the SEPHORA Brands team, supporting the performance, growth and daytoday execution of SEPHORA Collection, as well as contributing to UK product development for SEPHORA Favourites and other key brand projects.
As a Category Assistant, youll play a vital role in ensuring flawless product launches, accurate data management, strong crossfunctional coordination and smooth commercial execution. What youll be doing
Youll support the Category team across the full commercial lifecycle, including:
1. Liaising with suppliers to gather new line information and ensuring documentation is completed accurately and on time.
2. Supporting the Category Manager with trend analysis, forecasting, and identifying upcoming brands and innovations.
3. Helping to prepare product nominations for Marketing, Social, and PR activity.
4. Analysing sales, margin and performance trends to identify opportunities for weekly trade reviews.
5. Raising purchase orders for new ranges, promotional buys, samples, and ad hoc requests.
6. Updating product data, pricing files, codes, and supplier contact information to maintain accuracy.
7. Owning the resolution of supplier invoice queries by partnering with Finance to resolve pricing discrepancies.
8. Managing the callin, tracking and coordination of product samples for marketing and retail needs.
9. Managing retail sampling processes and ensuring deadlines are met.
10. Supporting adhoc administrative tasks and commercial projects assigned by senior team members.
11. Deputising for the Assistant Category Manager when required.
What youll bring

12. Experience in Buying or a retail head office environment would be advantageous.
13. Strong numerical, analytical and problemsolving skills.
14. Proficiency with Excel and confidence using systems and data.
15. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
16. Strong organisation and timemanagement skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
17. A proactive mindset, able to use your initiative and work independently when required.
18. A collaborative, positive approach with a strong work ethic.
