What is the job role?
As a Library Services Co‑ordinator, you will lead on widening engagement with Coventry’s Library and Information Services, particularly for people who cannot easily access standard provision. You will develop, coordinate and promote inclusive library services that support socially excluded groups, multicultural communities and residents across the city.
The role involves planning and delivering community‑focused programmes and events, managing partnerships with local, regional and national organisations, and ensuring services align with the Libraries and Information Services Operational Plan and national core offers. You will lead the Housebound Library Service and a specialist team, including staff development, performance and wellbeing.
You will support innovation through project management, service evaluation, performance monitoring and reporting, and effective budget management. Working collaboratively with colleagues and partners, you will help maximise the impact of library services in supporting community development and access for all.
