English Teacher - Maternity Cover (Full-Time)

Contract: Full-time, maternity cover
A welcoming mainstream secondary school in Salford is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join their team on a full-time maternity cover basis, starting after the February half term.
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching English across KS3 and KS4, with experience delivering GCSE English Language and/or Literature being highly desirable. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and collaborative English department that is passionate about literacy, learning, and student success.
The school is looking for someone who:
Is passionate about English and inspiring a love of reading and writing
Can deliver engaging and effective lessons at KS3 and KS4
Has experience teaching GCSE English (desirable)
Is able to build strong, positive relationships with pupils
