They are looking to strengthen their sales within engineering and are seeking a dynamic and innovative Commercial Sales Engineering Manager with a strong entrepreneurial mindset to join our team.This role combines technical expertise with strategic business acumen to drive sales growth and deliver exceptional customer solutions. As a key leader, you will collaborate closely with design engineers to ensure our solutions meet and exceed customer expectations in the competitive market landscape.Responsibilities:Leadership and Strategy:
* Lead and inspire the team to achieve sales targets and strategic objectives.
* Develop and implement innovative sales strategies aligned with company goals.
Technical Expertise:
* Provide technical leadership and support throughout the sales process.
* Present design simulation, layouts, concepts and lead technical consultations to prospects and clients.
Customer Engagement:
* Build strong relationships with key customers and partners.
* Understand their business needs and propose tailored solutions that leverage our companies’
Market Insight:
* Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities.
Collaboration:
* Work closely with cross-functional teams including application engineering and product development.
* Collaborate on product enhancements, pricing strategies, and go-to-market plans.
Training and Development:
* You will initially work alongside the current sales team to understand the collaborative sales approach and relationships with key accounts ensuring a smooth transition and deep understanding of our core values.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or related field. MBA or advanced technical degree preferred.
* Proven experience in sales engineering, technical sales, or related roles within the advanced engineering and technology sector.
* Strong leadership capabilities with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
* Entrepreneurial mindset with a strategic approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
* Results-driven with a focus on exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
