Work as an experienced practitioner, ensure standards of practice and support a safe, quality service, within available resources that aims to meet the needs of the woman and her family in achieving the outcome they believe is excellent for their circumstances, referring to other professionals and outside agencies as appropriate.
Work with the Maternity Team Leaders in providing efficient and effective maternity care within available resources, meeting agreed standards; objectives and statutory requirements.

Essential criteria
1. Midwifery Degree
2. Post Graduate PMA Course
3. NMC Registered and Practising Midwife in the UK

4. Practice Assessor
5. Patient Experience Course
6. Leadership Course
7. TRiM Trained

8. Substantive Midwifery Practice
9. Experienced PMA

10. Experience of managing complaints or feedback
