37 hours per week
2 x Permanent positions. Salary £33,366 to £36,124 per annum (pay award pending).

Then this could be the role for you! As the first point of contact for those in our community who are facing homelessness, your role will involve assessing their circumstances and recommending the options available to them.
You will be working in a busy, challenging environment and dealing with sensitive and personal circumstances, however your organised methodical approach to your work, will ensure that you can effectively manage your workload.
As an accomplished communicator you will be able to demonstrate empathy for those who are vulnerable in difficult situations and deal confidently with individuals who have complex needs. You will assess their needs and provide sound advice, support, and signposting in accordance with the appropriate legislation.
We are looking for Housing Options Officers who will hold a varied case load with the opportunity to develop the role with a specific specialism. This could be in one of the following areas:
* Young People Ex-Offenders Migrants Eligibility Welfare Benefits.
The team will support you with a variety of personal development and training opportunities including the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) Level 3.
The role may involve both home working and working from the office, flexible arrangements can be agreed.

There will be a 2 stage-recruitment process for this role. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to the first or second stage of the process.
Stage 1 – Group exercise 5th August 2025, if successful you be invited to an interview later that day.
Stage 2 – Interview and test later that day.
