Site Engineer Heywood OL10 2LG Contract 6xmonths My client is a leading engineering tier one contractor, that are in the market for a site engineer to work on highways alterations. This is an opportunity to be part of a multi-million pound infrastructure project on our northern motorway. Key Responsibilities Reporting directly to the Senior Engineer, this role is to ensure that construction projects are completed accurately and safely. You will undertake the delivery operations for a specific discipline (e.g. roadworks) to ensure all elements are delivered safely, to the required quality, on time and within budget, all in line with the scheme design and associated highway specifications and in compliance with the Development Consent Order requirements. The role may involve a mobilisation stage of 3-5 months before c. 3 years of construction starting in June 2026. Post-construction support for handover into operations will also be required. • Ensuring that site surveys and records are provided as required. • Put safety above all else in your role. • Working with project managers, site managers, supervisors and suppliers to coordinate, develop and review safe system compliance and other daily processes. • Ensure all on site activities are recorded through daily diaries, production control schedules and photographs. • Ensuring permits, RAMS, QA documents are in place in timely manner and complete...
