Customs Administrator
Stafford, onsite
12-month contract
£18.94 / hr umbrella
This position is responsible for handling daily import and customs activity with freight forwarders to ensure parts and product flow across international borders in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Strong experience of
* Confident using Microsoft Office packages, especially Excel (able to demonstrate basic formulas, pivot tables, formatting, charts, etc) and able to resolve IT issues with Helpdesk support where appropriate
* Freight forwarders/ customs brokers
* Internal business partners – Material Planning, Purchase, Finance
* Desirable
Experience of working with a large organisation and the complexity this brings
* Experience of working within an organisation that buy/sell large volumes worldwide
* Understanding of incoterms
* Previous experience of working within an imports/export role or working with CDS.
