We are seeking to appoint a Design and Technology Technician to provide practical and technical support within the Design and Technology curriculum in KS3 DT: Textiles, Engineering, Food and Design Technology. At KS4: Textiles, Engineering, 3D Design & Hospitality & Catering. At KS5: Textiles and Engineering. Specialist skills in all of these areas are not required, although willingness to learn is essential, previous experience in some areas is extremely desirable. You will be required to work under the direction of teaching staff, the successful candidate will support the preparation of resources, maintenance of specialist equipment and the safe operation of Design and Technology facilities. This is a non‑teaching role, essential in enabling effective learning through reliable technical and practical support. The technician will work closely with teaching staff to ensure pupils can safely and confidently access advanced tools, equipment and digital technologies.
