Applications are invited for a clinical Fellow ST8 level post, offered by the Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust, based at Worcestershire Royal Hospital. This is a fixed‑term post for 12 months, commencing Feb/March 2026.
Main duties of the job
As an Interventional Cardiology Clinical Fellow, you will receive advanced PCI training and also be involved in the recruitment to current interventional cardiology trials. The post would ideally suit a candidate approaching the end of an accredited Cardiology training programme or post CCT or equivalent. They should have a minimum of five years cardiology experience and at least basic PCI experience.
There will be 8 clinical sessions within the Cardiac Catheter lab, 1 emergency clinic and a dedicated administration session.

Qualifications
Essential
* MBBS or equivalent
* MRCP (full)
* ALS provider
* Eligible for full GMC registration with Licence to Practise at the time of appointment

* Completion of specialist training and entry onto GMC specialist register in Cardiology.

* Able to meet the travel requirements of the job and return to the hospital within 30 minutes when undertaking non‑resident on‑call duties
