Purpose
To provide Cognitive Behavioural Mentoring (CBM) to young people aged 16–24 with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) participating in the Navigator Support Programme. The Cognitive Behavioural Mentor will work with young people who experience low confidence, anxiety, entrenched negative beliefs, emotional or motivational barriers, supporting them to develop resilience, improve self-belief and build the emotional readiness needed to progress towards Education, Employment or Training (EET).The role focuses on short-term, structured, strengths-based interventions, complementing employability and careers support delivered by SEND Navigators.
