Junior Process Engineer (3‑Month Contract)
Location: Coleshill - Fully on-site working
Hours: Day shift, 40 hours per week
Contract: 3 months (potential to become permanent if a suitable gap opens)
IR35 Status: Inside IR35

Rate: £25-£30 per hour, depending on experience (approx. £38k-£46k equivalent)
Overview
We are seeking a Junior Process Engineer to support a process engineering and quality teams with documentation, analysis, and administrative tasks. This role is ideal for early‑career candidates, including recent graduates, who are looking to gain industry experience in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation and maintenance of process documentation and records.
Support the development and upkeep of PFMEA activities.
Contribute to compliance with IATF 16949 requirements and audits.
Gather and organise data from production and engineering teams to support continuous improvement projects.
Provide general administrative support to the process engineering function.
Maintain organised logs, reports, and documentation to support quality systems.
Required Skills & Experience
Early‑career applicants encouraged; suitable for graduates or those with limited experience.
Understanding or exposure to PFMEA processes.
Familiarity with IATF 16949 or wider automotive quality frameworks.
Strong administrative, organisational, and IT skills.
Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively.
Desirable (Not Essential)
Experience in battery manufacturing, energy storage, or related sectors.
Previous experience in a manufacturing or automotive environment
