Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Duty Manager role located in Sittingbourne. The Duty Manager will oversee daily operations to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the leisure facility. Key responsibilities include supervising staff, ensuring health and safety compliance, delivering excellent customer service, managing resources effectively, and handling customer queries. The Duty Manager will play a proactive role in promoting participation and engagement within the community and will support in meeting operational goals, including quality and budgetary targets. Qualifications Leadership and team management experience to guide and support staff effectively. Strong operational knowledge, including health and safety protocols and facility management skills. Excellent communication and customer service abilities to address customer needs and foster positive relationships. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage resources efficiently, and meet organizational goals. A passion for promoting health and fitness initiatives and engaging with the community. Experience or certifications in first aid, lifeguarding, or related fields are advantageous. Previous exposure to leisure or fitness management and a relevant qualification such as NVQ Level 3 or similar is a plus.
