Our client, a leading organisation within the infrastructure sector, is currently seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Northampton, working on HS2. Key Responsibilities: Independently carry out tasks and lead a small group of commercial staff as needed Prepare and agree variation accounts for main contracts and sub-contracts Monitor cost against targets and contract progress in conjunction with other team disciplines Provide input into change control procedures for EOT, delays, and performance adjustments Prepare and agree interim valuations, final valuations, final accounts, and sub-contract final accounts Prepare and issue certification and payment of sub-contractors Provide contractual advice to management, ensuring compliance with contract and legal obligations Negotiate and resolve any disputes and identify potential commercial risks, evaluating options for control and management Job Requirements: Qualified with a Quantity Surveying degree or similar Enrolled in, or seeking membership of, a relevant professional institution (CICES, RICS or similar) Significant experience at Quantity Surveyor level, demonstrating skill in delivering positive commercial outcomes Ability to listen, learn, and take on new concepts while mentoring junior team members Hold a valid driving license and have access to a vehicle Hold a valid CSCS card Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package Opportunities for professional development and growth Car allowance or car scheme (EV) available Hybrid working (1 day pr/week) Supportive and collaborative work environment Involvement in key infrastructure projects Subsistence package if more than 50 miles from site If you are an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor seeking to advance your career with a pioneering company in the infrastructure sector, we would love to hear from you.
