This welcoming and well-managed Birmingham primary school has received excellent feedback from previous supply staff. They are now looking for a committed and passionate Teaching Assistant to join their Year 5 class.
The successful candidate will provide general classroom support and step in to offer 1:1 SEN support as needed—making a meaningful difference each day.
Key Responsibilities:
Support a settled, engaged Year 5 class with their daily learning
Collaborate closely with the class teacher, who encourages input and initiative
Deliver 1:1 support to pupils with special educational needs, as required
Contribute positively to a friendly and inclusive staff team
Requirements:
Experience working with Key Stage 2 pupils (in schools, tutoring, or volunteering)
A calm, supportive, and encouraging approach to behaviour and learning
Interest in supporting pupils with SEN
Full-time availability for a long-term role
