As a Reception Teacher, you will:
1. Plan and deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons in line with the EYFS framework
2. Set and review weekly learning targets to support individual progress
3. Write detailed reports and maintain accurate assessment records
4. Build strong relationships with parents and carers, including hosting parent evenings
5. Work closely with the Teaching Assistant to ensure a consistent and supportive learning environment
6. Contribute to the wider life of the school and uphold its values and ethos
What you'll need to succeed
7. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
8. Experience teaching in the Early Years, ideally within a Reception class
9. Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and child development
10. Excellentmunication and interpersonal skills
11. A proactive, nurturing, and team-oriented approach
What you'll get in return
