We’re recruiting a Senior Support Worker to lead frontline delivery of personalised, high-quality, and compassionate support to individuals experiencing or at risk of homelessness. You’ll be part of a dedicated team delivering tenancy support, housing management assistance, and wellbeing services tailored to individual needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate and deliver support plans addressing tenancy sustainment, mental health, housing needs, and personal development.
* Work directly with individuals to help them achieve their goals, build life skills, and improve health and wellbeing.
* Act as a keyworker and oversee support delivery, ensuring accurate and professional records.
* Liaise with external partners, including housing teams, healthcare services, and advocacy groups.
* Provide leadership on shift and supervision to support workers in the absence of the Team Leader.
* Promote inclusion, empowerment, and trauma-informed practice in all areas of support.
What We’re Looking For
* A recognised social care qualification at SCQF Level 6 or above (essential).
* Experience working in adult social care, ideally in homelessness, housing support or mental health.
* Confident in report writing, support planning, and using digital systems.
* Understanding of SSSC codes of practice and Care Inspectorate standards.
* Strong values of compassion, dignity, and respect for all.
