Full Time Equivalent Salary: £27,964 - £30,146 (CLF Grade C) based on 37 hours per week, all year round.

Roles and Hours:
* 1 – 30 hours per week – Year 4/5 – (salary: £19,415 - £20,930 – 6 hours per day)
* 2 – 2 hours per week – Pre-school – (salary: £13,943 - £13,95 – Wednesday afternoon)
* 3 – 17.5 hours per week – Key stage 1 – (salary: £11,325 - £12,209 – Monday to Friday, 3.5 hours per day, mornings)
* 4 – 30 hours per week – Pre-school – (salary: £19,415 - £20,930 – 6 hours per day)
About the Role:
We are seeking passionate and skilled Level 2 Teaching Assistants to join our supportive team at Haywood Village Academy. We value diversity and ambition, aiming to transform our students’ learning experiences.

The successful candidates will support students’ educational, personal, and social development, working under the guidance of colleagues such as the Principal, SENCo, and class teachers. Your role will involve adopting strategies and techniques to help students access the curriculum, engage with learning, and reach their full potential. You will also provide specialist support in specific areas, collaborating with colleagues and supporting less experienced staff as needed.
About You:
* Understanding of classroom roles and how a teaching assistant supports learning.
* Ability to engage students and manage behaviour in one-to-one or small group settings.
* Willingness to undertake relevant qualifications, e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 in supporting teaching and learning or equivalent, plus first aid.
* Strong interpersonal skills, including empathy and active listening.
* Good planning and organizational skills.
* A keen interest in working with children and supporting inclusion.
