Benefit Cosmetics has an exciting opportunity for a Sales Development Manager to lead the South Region team. You will maximize sales opportunities by developing and coaching Account Managers and Beauty Consultants, leading by example, and driving the business through strong people management skills. Responsibilities include monitoring sales, managing performance, training, development, and supporting new store openings.


Responsibilities


Retail Sales

* Discuss retail sales targets with Account Managers and monitor sales to ensure alignment with forecasts.
* Analyze new product sales to maximize opportunities.
* Assess team productivity and ensure training practices are followed.


Training and Development

* Identify training needs and liaise with Regional Sales and Training Managers for support.
* Coach and develop the team to improve performance.
* Ensure regular Store Visit forms are completed with measurable objectives.


Network

* Build and maintain strong relationships with retail partners to achieve shared goals.


New Store Openings

* Coordinate with Marketing for store support and recruitment.
* Meet with new store management to present the brand and ensure critical opening tasks are completed.


Communication

* Hold quarterly meetings with Account Managers to review processes.
* Maintain daily communication with Regional Sales Manager for guidance.
* Coordinate with wider teams and Head Office to share relevant information.


Budget

* Ensure retail expenditure aligns with budget.

Responsible for approximately 15 stores.


Qualifications

* Minimum 5 years of retail experience.
* Strong people management skills.
* Knowledge of employment law.
* Good commercial awareness and business acumen.
* Proficiency in Excel (intermediate level).
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Attention to detail.
* Effective planning and organization skills.
* Negotiation and influencing skills.
* Ability to motivate and lead a team.
