Overview
Vacancies have arisen in the Tayside Out of Hours Service for Drivers. This is an Out of Hours role and you must be able to work a variable shift pattern including overnight, weekends and public holidays. Posts can be based across the Tayside area, mainly in Dundee and Perth. Salary £25,694 – £27,900 per annum pro-rata. Fixed Term/ Secondment to 31 March 2026. Various Part Time hours.
As this is an Out of Hours service you will be expected to cover a range of daytime, evening and overnight shifts including public holidays.
Responsibilities
* You will convey GPs and patients, as required.
Requirements
* A valid driving licence is essential.
* You must meet the Group 2 medical criteria for driving.
* You must be able to work a variable shift pattern including overnight, weekends and public holidays.
* You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
* Posts can be based across the Tayside area, mainly Dundee and Perth.
* Note: This post does not meet Home Office Guidelines for Sponsorship/Skilled Worker Visa.
