Actuary In-House Role
We are seeking a qualified non-life actuary, likely currently employed at a consulting firm, to transition into an in-house position. The role involves managing two Fellows and working on reserving projects for various Lloyds and London Market commercial lines.
The position offers significant exposure to executive management, including the CFO and CEO.
Key requirements include reserving experience across general insurance fields and the ability to communicate reserve developments clearly, both in writing and in meetings.
The environment is dynamic and team-oriented. The role requires presence in the office at least three days a week and is suitable for those who enjoy collaborative work, learning from ambitious leadership, and mentoring junior staff. Remote work for extended periods is not preferred.
Compensation includes a base salary of £140,000 to £160,000, with a target 30% discretionary bonus based on individual and company performance.
