This is an exciting opportunity to pass on your skills and knowledge to the next generation of Welders. This role is accompanied by a competitive renumeration package, including 45 days annual leave.
As a Lecturer in Welding you will:
- Plan a program of study that meets the individual needs, interests and abilities of all students.
- Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and is developmentally appropriate to the maturity and interests of all students.
-Plan and deliver a suitable Assessment Programme ensuring marked work meets Middlesbrough College Gold Standards.
-Implement Middlesbrough College’s Core Values through the Taking Teaching Higher strategy.
-Utilise diagnostic assessment tools to identify learning strengths and needs of every student, on a regular basis, for the purpose of intervention and/or acceleration toward academic achievement.
-Actively prepare all students for employment.
Requirements:
-Hold a minimum of a Level 3 in Welding.
-GCSE’s at Grade C/ Level 4 or above in English and Maths, or equivalent.
-Hold or be willing to work towards teacher and assessor qualifications. xkybehq
-Have a valid DBS check, or be able to attain one.
This position is suitable for a qualified and experienced Welder that wants to transition into further education.
