Purpose of the Role/ Role Overview: To facilitate the smooth running of the business in relation to stock and stores control. Follow instructions, processes, and procedures to ensure the smooth running of the company. Attention to detail is imperative to ensure all stock and kits, which are picked, packed and maintained by you, are accurate, to a high standard and correct specification. Assist in the unit with general production and maintenance duties. Work closely with colleagues and demonstrate a can-do attitude which supports others in their role. Ensure compliance to Health and Safety regulations and company policies, which include keeping a clean and clear workstation. For the first 3 months the hours will be 8.00am - 4.30pm for training purposes, then will change to early shift hours which is 6.00am - 2.30pm. Key Duties / Key Responsibilities: Maintain levels of stock to stores and work-stations. Compile fixing kits for Service Delivery Teams when required. General duties and ad/hoc tasks within the factory. Production and cleaning of panels. Keep all areas of the factory (including car park) clear and clean. Highlighting potential issues and concerns swiftly. Act as an ambassador for the business at all times when driving a company vehicle and wearing company uniform. Ensuring all cleaning materials are handled using suppliers guidance. Follow H&S procedures highlighting potential issues swiftly. Ability to communicate with management and raise issues prior to delays and failure. Communicate any product issues in a timely manner to the relevant departments. Look for opportunities to improve the product set, quality, speed of production through your role. Willing to learn new skills, plumbing, electrics if and when required. KPIs Order, Distribute and manage stock without faults reported and revisits to where products are fitted. Reduce costs and identify savings. New ideas or improvements that reduce cost, reduce build time, raise customer satisfaction, address ongoing issues.
