You'll join a warm, supportive team who provide accommodation and one-to-one recovery-focused support to adults living with mental illness. You'll play a key role in helping people regain confidence, develop daily living skills and successfully manage their tenancy, all while being part of a service that values choice, dignity and inclusion.
Qualifications
* You have an understanding of mental health needs and a genuine desire to make a difference
* You stay calm and patient - even during challenging moments
* You're confident communicating with vulnerable adults and other professionals
* You're organised, reliable and able to work independently
* You have basic IT, literacy and numeracy skills
Responsibilities
This is a support role - not personal care. You'll provide face-to-face support to people living with mental illness, helping them to:
* Build confidence and emotional resilience
* Strengthen relationships with family and professionals
* Develop skills for independent living
* Maintain a positive tenancy
Some individuals may need help to manage challenges such as substance misuse, anti-social behaviour or offending-related risks. You'll respond proactively and work closely with housing, legal and criminal justice partners when needed. You'll also keep clear, accurate records - confidence with IT, numeracy and writing is important.
