Job Title: Rehabilitation / Support Worker Location: Barnsley Salary: £12.60 - £14.60 per hour (dependent on experience and NVQ level) Shift Pattern: Days Service Type: Outstanding-rated CQC Residential Home Role Overview We are seeking compassionate, motivated, and professional Rehabilitation / Support Workers to join our Outstanding-rated residential home in Barnsley. The role involves providing high-quality care and support to residents, assisting with rehabilitation, daily living activities, and promoting independence. You will be part of a dedicated, supportive team delivering person-centred care, aligned with CQC standards and best practice in social care. Key Responsibilities Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility support Support residents with rehabilitation programmes, daily activities, and goal achievement Promote independence and wellbeing, encouraging participation in activities and social engagement Assist with medication administration and ensure accurate records are maintained Maintain high standards of safety, hygiene, and infection control Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and healthcare professionals Follow care plans and risk assessments to ensure resident safety Uphold the home's values, contributing to a positive, caring environment Essential Requirements Experience in residential care, rehabilitation, or related health/social care setting NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards) Ability to promote independence and recovery-focused support Desirable Requirements Experience in rehabilitation, occupational therapy support, or mental health care NVQ Level 3 (or above) in Health & Social Care First Aid, Moving & Handling, and Medication training Please contact kurtis@howard-finley.co.uk with your up to date cv
