Intensive Support Worker
Location: Newton Mearns
Hours: Full-time, 36 hours per week – various shifts available including waking nights and weekends
Salary: £13.77 – £14.51 per hour (depending on service and shift pattern)
Driving Licence: Manual UK licence and access to your own vehicle essential
About the Role
We are looking for caring and dedicated Intensive Support Workers to join our expanding, award-winning, Employee-Owned organisation in Newton Mearns.
As an Intensive Support Worker, you will support individuals with complex health and behavioural needs, including those who are ventilated or living with long-term conditions. This is a highly rewarding role where you can make a genuine difference in someone's life, helping them to live as independently and meaningfully as possible.
What You'll Do
* Provide intensive support to individuals in their homes, ensuring person-centred care
* Assist with clinical and healthcare needs, monitoring mental and physical health as per care plans
* Deliver personal care and support as needed
* Follow outcome-focused support plans, collaborating with internal teams, health professionals, and families
* Undertake specialist training to meet the competency requirements set out by health partners
What You'll Need
* A Manual UK Driving Licence and access to your own car
* Flexibility to work various shift patterns including days, evenings, weekends, and nights
