Our client’s successful automotive team in Chipping Warden is looking for multiple Vehicle Delivery & Collection Drivers to join their ranks. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering and collecting a range of vehicles, from prestige models to everyday makes, while ensuring the highest standards of service and customer satisfaction.
Drivers will travel across the UK delivering vehicles to customers and businesses, with journeys typically covering most parts of the country (generally up to Carlisle in the north).
The Role
1. Deliver and collect all makes and models of vehicles, including EVs and prestige vehicles.
2. Use a company-issued mobile phone for job information and communication.
3. Travel across the UK to deliver and collect vehicles from customers and business locations.
4. Most journeys will involve collecting another vehicle to return to site or being collected by another driver.
5. In some cases, drivers may return by train, with tickets covered by the company.
6. Drivers are provided with fuel cards to cover fuel and electric charging costs.
7. Accommodation will be provided if drivers have been on the road for extended periods (typically after 12 hours away from base).
8. Interact professionally with end customers, planners and management teams.
What We're Looking For
9. Full UK Driving Licence, with a maximum of 3 points for minor offences.
10. Minimum age 25 (insurance requirement).
11. Minimum 3 years of driving experience.
12. Strong knowledge of UK roads.
13. Experience driving electric vehicles.
14. Excellent communication skills and a professional approach.
15. Smart appearance when representing the company.
16. Keen, reliable and able to work independently.
