We currently have a fantastic opportunity to join a leading manufacturing company based in Basingstoke as a Sales Administrator.
Introduction
Our client is looking for a proactive person with some office skills, who is either keen to join the sales world with a great training plan or someone that has some sales administration experience already and wants to progress their skills. The Sales Administrator will be responsible for processing external customer orders, shipments, and handling general inquiries.
Key Responsibilities
* Placing sales orders onto the system.
* Supporting direct sales from order receipt to shipment. Ensuring payments are received promptly and shipments are sent by the required date.
* Taking inbound calls and directing them appropriately.
* Dealing with purchase orders.
* Liaising with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of products.
* Managing the logistical process for all modification orders, from entry to delivery by the acknowledged date.
* Handling customer inquiries.
* Liaising with the warehouse team to ensure products are ready for shipment.
* Visiting customers and exhibitions as required.
* As the role progresses, participating in proactive sales activities such as following up on inquiries, quotes, and working on various sales projects.

Additional Details
Hours: Monday to Friday (Days)
Salary: £25,000 - £27,000
