The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff to ensure the smooth running of Food Technology lessons, maintaining high standards of organisation, hygiene, and safety in the department. Your Key Responsibilities • Prepare and set up materials, ingredients, and equipment for practical lessons. • Support teachers by working one-to-one or with small groups of pupils to enhance learning experiences. • Carry out daily safety checks on all machinery, appliances, and equipment before student use. • Maintain a clean and well-organised learning environment—ensuring high standards of hygiene and safety at all times. • Assist with stock control, ordering, and safe storage of food, chemicals, and specialised materials. • Help with displays, open evenings, and other school events that showcase the department’s work. • Support staff and students during lessons with technical guidance and practical setup. • Undertake additional duties, training, and development as required by the Head of Faculty or Headteacher.
