Your new role | The school are looking to appoint
Teacher of Science – Specialist in Chemistry, Biology or Physics. This will be to start in January 2026 and is a full-time position.
Your duties will include:
1. Supervise students in lessons whilst delivering pre-prepared work left by the teacher.
2. Managing pupil behaviour in the classroom
3. Be familiar with the school’s policies and procedures and deal with any immediate problems.
4. Collating thepleted work from the lesson and leaving a handover for the returning teacher.
5. For long-term positions, you will be required to plan, mark and assess pupils work with PPA time given.

6. Be a qualified teacher or have experience in the classroom to work as a Supply Teacher
7. Have a flexible attitude to working and timetable changes.
8. Have knowledge of the secondary curriculum
9. Be confident in delivering lessons to secondary aged pupils.
