Working Pattern: Permanent / Full Time
As the Senior Project Manager, you will
* Deliver major projects from contract award to completion and close-out successfully
* Build effective relationships internally and externally; manage the relationship between the project team and client to ensure effective management of the scope, such that all projects are completed effectively strictly in accordance with the requirements of the contract as a minimum and generate positive feedback
* React positively to Client needs in an expedient and proactive manner
* Be responsible for overseeing all Client and Vendor interfaces to ensure seamless project execution is achieved, managing both Company inputs and client expectations effectively whilst preserving the reputation and interests of Company at all times
* Provide guidance, support, oversight and stewardship of the preparation and challenge of all project cost estimates and approval of same, with effective management to ensure project budgets are met
* Ensure robust technical and commercial change control mechanisms / procedures are in place and are being adhered to diligently
* Establish and implement project meetings whether internally or externally at Client premises and ensure their frequency and repetition
* Oversee and approval of all project budgets expenditure and revenues and for monitoring of same at a meaningful frequency
* Appraise, Select, Define, Onshore and Offshore Execute and Close-out Phases, or parts thereof, of all projects are driven and delivered safely in line with, or ahead of expectations
* Ensuring all projects are effectively completed strictly in accordance with the requirements of the contract as a minimum, and that adequate resources Group wide are in place to meet those requirements
* Responsible for managing all Client and Vendor interfaces to ensure seamless project execution is achieved
* Establishing and setting clear goals and priorities for all projects

About You
You’ll have experience of:
* People Management, relationship building and strong leadership skills
* Effective team building capability coupled with previous management experience and ability
* Client and quality focused delivery style, with ability to drive continual improvement
* Assurance of competence of project personnel under Project Manager control. Identification of personnel shortfalls and submission of proposal to Project Delivery Manager / Country Manager for solutions such as training, coaching or other measures
* Training and development of Project Engineers
* Ensure all supervised personnel are aware of continuous improvement issues of new technology
* Understanding of interfaces between various engineering disciplines
* Thorough knowledge and understanding of relevant oil & gas industry codes and standards
* Significant, demonstrable experience in an offshore industry project delivery role including construction activities through to close-out
* In depth understanding of effective project delivery and campaign execution planning
* Significant, demonstrable experience in anticipating and resolving problems and contingency planning capabilities
* Financial and contractual awareness coupled with sound commercial judgement
* Significant demonstrable experience in a similar position
* Experience in managing and developing others

Qualifications
* Degree qualified in an Engineering or Project Management discipline
* Masters degree in relevant discipline
* Membership of a recognised professional body
* Project Management Training – PMI or APM accredited
* Competent in the use of MS Office applications
* Survival BOSIET/FOET with CA-EBS & MIST (advantageous)
