Position Description
As a Server, you will provide friendly and efficient service to guests, adhering to company policies, procedures, and standards. Your goal is to maximize guest satisfaction and maintain a positive work environment under the guidance of the General Manager or Manager on Duty.
Responsibilities:
* Report to work well-groomed, in a clean uniform, and practice good personal hygiene.
* Greet guests courteously and respectfully.
* Handle cash, credit card information, gift cards, and all payment-related tasks responsibly.
* Take verbal orders accurately and serve food that meets quality standards.
* Ensure food is at correct temperatures and visually appealing.
* Maintain cleanliness of work stations and perform side work during downtime.
* Follow the service cycle and team responsibilities consistently.
* Know the menu well to suggest items and promote sales.
* Use POS systems properly to write checks and process payments.
* Identify and resolve system or service issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.
* Communicate effectively with managers and co-workers about any issues or needs.
Qualifications:
* Basic skills in sanitation, safety, and customer service (training provided)
* Trustworthy with payment handling and cash register operation
* Clear communication skills
Physical Requirements / Environment / Work Conditions:
* High mobility and flexibility
* Ability to work irregular hours under pressure during peak times
* Good coordination
* Lift and carry trays up to 20 pounds for distances up to 30 feet
* Ability to fit through a 30-inch wide opening
* Frequent reaching, bending, pushing, and pulling
* Exposure to heat, steam, smoke, cold, and odors
* Continuous standing and walking
