Elevation Recruitment’s Skilled Shop Floor Division has been exclusively retained to manage a recruitment campaign for Spooner Industries, based in Ilkley, Leeds.
The Role: Welder
Hourly rate: £16.81 (day shift) or £19.11ph (afternoon shift)
Shifts: Early Shift Monday to Friday 6am - 2pm; Late Shift Monday to Thursday 2:15pm - 00:30am and Midnight on a Thursday
Responsibilities
* Fabricate components to engineering drawings as a Welder/Fabricator.
* Perform MIG and TIG welding, with emphasis on stainless steel.
* Maintain welding equipment, including robotic systems.
* Adhere to high quality and safety standards.
Qualifications
* Apprentice-trained or equivalent
* Strong MIG and TIG welding experience, particularly on stainless steel
* Team-oriented and eager to learn and develop further
