This involves analysing current supplier performance and risks, identifying and qualifying alternative suppliers across regions, and building multi-sourcing strategies. The role also includes negotiating contracts, evaluating global manufacturing options, maintaining strong supplier relationships, ensuring regulatory compliance, and developing risk assessments and contingency plans.
