Salary and Hours
Salary: up to £53,200 DOE
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday
Contract: Permanent (52 weeks or flexibility around term-time contract can be discussed based on personal circumstances)
The Role
Join the in-house clinical team at The Shires – Stretton. Working collaboratively with the education team, you will deliver bespoke Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention to pupils who may have experienced developmental trauma, be neurodivergent, or have SEMH needs. You will work within the OFG Occupational Therapy Ways of Working, guiding practice in an education setting and clarifying roles and responsibilities in line with governing and professional body requirements. You will hold an occupational therapy caseload with support from your designated clinical supervisor and Lead Clinician, who will also contribute to staff training and consultation as required. Essential Criteria
* Recognised Occupational Therapy degree
* Valid and up-to-date HCPC Registration
* Registered member of RCOT
* Relevant experience in providing occupational therapy services within a similar setting (preferred)
* Experience with neurodivergent individuals and/or those with learning difficulties and/or socio-emotional and mental health needs; evidence of transferable skills
* Sound knowledge and clinical understanding of OT theory and practical applications to support independence
* Experience of multi-professional work with teams or services within the designated speciality (preferred)
* Ability to work independently, be flexible, and confident in a school environment
* Clear and concise report writing skills
* Interest in sensory integration or SI practice (training in progress or completed is preferred, but not essential)
