The Role
From a recruitment perspective, this is a key senior appointment with responsibilities including:
* Leading on a broad range of corporate and commercial matters
* Advising clients on mergers and acquisitions, business sales and purchases, restructures, and shareholder arrangements
* Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, partnership agreements, and terms of business
* Supporting owner-managed businesses, SMEs, and larger corporate clients across a range of sectors
* Managing and developing key client relationships and referral networks
* Supervising and mentoring junior solicitors and supporting team development
* Driving business development initiatives and contributing to the strategic growth of the department
* Working closely with other departments to provide a full-service offering to clients
