About the Role: We are looking for a friendly, organised, and customer-focused Receptionist to join our team on a temporary basis. You will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing excellent customer service while supporting the day-to-day operations of our museum and visitor services. Key Responsibilities: Greet visitors and manage telephone and email enquiries. Handle incoming and outgoing mail. Operate a computerised booking and cash system, recording visitor data and reconciling payments. Assist with museum shop sales, stock control, merchandising, and promotion of events. Provide clerical and administrative support, including filing, word processing, and maintaining records. Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards to maintain a safe environment. Undertake other delegated duties as required. Candidate Requirements: Eligible to work in the UK. Strong customer service and communication skills. Basic computer literacy; experience with booking/cash systems preferred. Flexible and able to cover different duties as required.
