This role is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing membership and marketing activities that support both member engagement and revenue-generating objectives through digital and multi-channel marketing strategies.
The post holder will manage campaigns across the organisation, collaborating closely with a variety of stakeholders, including professionals and internal teams. Working alongside the Marketing Manager and wider marketing team when needed, the role requires a proactive problem solver who can operate with a high level of autonomy.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Marketing
* Design, deliver, and produce compelling copy and content for targeted marketing campaigns aimed at members and customers.
* Support the marketing of commercial products and services such as courses, exams, digital learning products, and events across various channels including email, website, social media (paid and organic), video, digital advertising, and print.
* Write high-quality, engaging copy that adheres to marketing best practices across multiple platforms.
* Create branded collateral using tools such as Canva and Adobe Suite for use across owned channels.
* Identify content gaps proactively and contribute ideas during planning sessions and brainstorming activities.
* Proofread and provide constructive feedback on marketing materials from colleagues to ensure consistency and quality.
* Act as a brand ambassador, maintaining and championing the organisation’s brand internally and externally.
* Monitor and report on campaign performance using analytics and CRM tools, making data-driven recommendations to improve engagement, reach, and conversions.
* Assist in maintaining contact lists and managing marketing journeys within the CRM system.
Membership Engagement and Administration
* Support the organisation and delivery of conference activities, representing the organisation at conferences, events, and external working groups, including virtual formats.
* Administer, organise, and develop member committees as required.
* Support marketing initiatives generated from committee work, working closely with stakeholders to drive positive engagement and awareness.
* Build and maintain positive working relationships with staff and key stakeholders.
General
* Develop a deep understanding of the membership base and their key issues.
* Prepare meeting papers and take minutes for committees as needed.
* Manage and respond to member and customer enquiries promptly via email, phone, and online channels.
* Conduct data manipulation and analysis as required.
* Undertake any other tasks assigned by the Marketing Manager.
