An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Undergraduate Medical Education team. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to work as an Undergraduate Administrator within the Undergraduate Medical Education Department at United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. This position will be based at Lincoln County Hospital and the successful candidate will work to support the delivery of Undergraduate Medical Education on all hospital sites.
There are four Undergraduate Administrators who assist the Undergraduate Operational Assistant Manager in the efficient running of the department which co-ordinates the provision of teaching modules for medical students from the Universities of Nottingham and Lincoln.
Main Duties of the job:
This post would suit a highly motivated and organised individual with good attention to detail. The primary function of this post is to support undergraduate medical education by managing undergraduate modules delivered within the Trust. You will be required to plan and produce timetables and placement plans, liaising with medical staff and other allied health professionals.
The successful candidate will have the ability to work under pressure whilst prioritising their work load on a daily basis. They will also be responsible for setting up teaching rooms for lectures, training sessions, exams etc. so the ability to move and handle furniture is essential. Familiarity with setting up display IT equipment would be useful as this is often used for teaching. Certain teaching sessions will require the candidate to become familiar with the use of clinical skills equipment as this will require setting up for some sessions. They will also be responsible for liaising with volunteer patients who support teaching and for assisting with the running of exam skills workshops.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required to support the service. The successful candidate must be a team player and be willing to undertake other general administrative duties within the education centre as required.

Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust (LCHS) and United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT) have come together in a Group arrangement, with the goal of improving the care provided to patients across the county.
This will not constitute a formal merger of the two organisations, but will bring the Trusts together under a single Board and Executive Leadership Team, with the goal of improving the care that is provided to patients both in the community and in hospitals across Lincolnshire. Both Trusts will retain their separate statutory names and legal obligations.
The Group will be known as Lincolnshire Community and Hospitals NHS Group (LCHG).
