Our Customer Delivery Driver rate of pay starts from £13.35 an hour. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
Minimum guaranteed hours: 16 per week (minimum 12 hours available). We offer flexibility and 3 weeks' notice of shift times.

* Fri: 19:00 – 23:00
* Sat: 19:00 – 23:00
About the Role
As the face of Tesco out on the road, you will meet and talk to customers in their homes daily. This role is about delivering great service with a smile, beyond just driving.
Responsibilities
* Ensure the van and trays are clean, tidy, and organised.
* Keep the back yard clean and free of rubbish; pick up litter as you see it.
* Wash trays as part of the tray wash process.
* Load the van, check roadworthiness.
* Communicate with customers about any order changes, offer refunds for dissatisfaction.
* Treat products/deliveries with care, explaining that substitutions won't incur extra charges.
* Deliver during the customer’s specified time slot.
* Call the customer before arrival if early.
* Call the store centre if running 30+ minutes late.
Requirements
* Build relationships with colleagues to create team spirit.
* Warm and welcoming in interactions with customers and colleagues.
* Act quickly to respond to changing customer needs and embrace change.
* Energetic and driven to deliver beyond expectations.
* Share ideas with the manager and colleagues to improve the store for customers.
* Valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence (Full or Automatic) with no more than 3 penalty points, held for at least 12 months.
